Microsoft365 E5 Series: How to license Microsoft Entra?

The identity features are covered in the Microsoft Entra licenses. And with the launch of Entra, Microsoft also introduced new advanced features which are not in Microsoft 365 E5.
Microsoft has 7 different Entra offerings today:
- Entra ID Free
- Entra ID for Office 365 Apps
- Entra ID Plan 1
- Entra ID Plan 2
- Entra ID Governance
- Entra Workload ID Free
- Entra Workload ID Premium
The first 5 are licensed on a per user model and you could find those licenses in a lot of different Microsoft bundles. The Workload offerings are licensed per Workload Identity.
